Where are you based and where do you shoot?

Based in London. Shoots are available across the city — popular locations include King’s Cross, Shoreditch, South Bank, Notting Hill, Canary Wharf, and Primrose Hill. Studio sessions are also available. If you have a specific location in mind, just ask.

How much does a headshot photographer cost in London?

Headshot sessions at Hozzphoto start from £150 for a focused LinkedIn or professional portrait shoot. Personal branding sessions — with multiple locations and outfit changes — start from £250. Full branding packages with extended shoot time and 30+ edited images are available from £350. All packages include posing direction, professional retouching, and delivery via private gallery.

What’s the difference between a headshot and personal branding photography?

A headshot is a single professional portrait — typically head and shoulders — used for LinkedIn, company websites, press or casting. Personal branding photography is a wider collection of images that tells the full story of who you are and what you do. It includes lifestyle shots, environmental portraits and variety across multiple locations. If you need one strong photo, book a headshot. If you need images across your website and social media, personal branding is the right choice.

What should I wear to a headshot shoot?

Solid colours photograph best — navy, slate grey, burgundy and forest green tend to work particularly well. Avoid busy patterns, logos and bright white near your face. Bring 2–3 outfit options to give yourself variety. Dress as you would for an important meeting — the goal is to look like the best, most professional version of yourself.

Do I need to know how to pose?

Not at all — posing direction is included in every session. The majority of clients say they hate being in front of the camera before they arrive, and leave feeling the opposite. You’ll be guided through natural poses and expressions throughout the shoot so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.

Dating Profile Photography

How much does a dating profile photoshoot cost in London?

Dating profile shoots start from £130 for the Starter package (45–60 mins, 1 location, 10–15 edited photos). The Signature package (multiple outfits, 2–3 locations, 25–35 edited photos) and Premium package (extended shoot, cinematic lifestyle shots, 40+ images) are also available. Motion clip add-ons for Hinge prompts, Instagram and Reels are available with any package.

Will you tell me what to do during the shoot?

Yes — entirely. Most men who book a dating profile shoot say they’re not models and don’t know how to pose. That’s exactly why full direction is provided throughout. Every angle, expression and movement is guided so the results look natural and confident rather than forced.

Where do dating profile shoots take place?

Shoots take place on location across London — in parks, streets, urban spaces and neighbourhoods that give your profile photos a real, authentic feel. Popular areas include Shoreditch, South Bank, Notting Hill, King’s Cross and local green spaces.

Booking, Turnaround & Practicalities

How long does it take to receive my photos?

Turnaround times by service: Portraits & Headshots — within 5 working days. Dating profile shoots — within 5 working days. Events — within 3 weeks. Video content — 1–2 weeks. Branding & content creation — up to 4 weeks depending on scope. Rush turnaround may be available on request.

How far in advance should I book?

For headshots, portrait and dating shoots, booking 1–2 weeks in advance is usually sufficient, though popular dates book up fast. For events, weddings and large commercial projects, booking 6–12 weeks in advance is recommended.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations are non-refundable, but sessions can be rescheduled to another available date with reasonable notice. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without prior notice, the session may be cancelled and the booking fee forfeited. Full details are in the Terms & Conditions.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes — a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for portrait, headshot and dating shoots. For events and weddings, a £600 or 50% non-refundable deposit is required when the contract is signed, with the remaining balance due 8 weeks before the date.

Can I customise my package?

Yes. Packages can be tailored — additional locations, extra edited images, motion clips, same-day turnaround, or on-location shoots at your office or clinic. Get in touch to discuss your needs and a bespoke quote can be provided.
